 Week 8 - Day 2 (Sunday)

 

Being a Stream of Consciousness Blog on the Hamsters of Big Brother 8, primarily exercised by writing down my impressions during the Showtime After Dark Episodes as well as clues and such I surmise from a network of links on Big Brother 8.

Why?  Hey, I'd do that for a $1!

 

Some of you may have noticed that I didn't start off with Day 1.  The rest of you need to sharpen your crayons.  I had a tooth pulled Friday and have been basically in a fog of pain medication ever since.  Still a bit woozie (no, not woobie!)  but I'm giving it a go.  I watched the After Dark Friday and Saturday as well as fed my growing Jokers Addiction (Hey Gang!) so I can give you some hazy remembrances to go by. 

 

 

 

Let's see, when last we left off - Jessica had won her second POV (you go Girl!) This immediately sucks for my man, Zach and Cry Me An Ocean Amber.  They were nominated for the chopping block.  How nice.  Eric, our puppet, has taken to pulling Jessica's strings quite a bit and seems gung-ho on getting Zach out.  Undoubtedly it has something to do with Alpha Doggyness, woof woof.  Strange thing is I also get a hint that his mission is to Out Amber.  Hmm.  Double Agent in our mist America?   

 

 

The After Darks have been quite a bore really.  We watch our hamsters eat and take their baths in the hot tubs, nipple rings included.  The place is quite a bit less rambunctious with Jen's ouster.  Lots and lots of I Love To Hate Jen talk from them.  Even prim and proper Jameka putting in some smack down.  My my my.  Mmm mmm.

 

Well that pretty well brings you (and me) up-to-date.  Oh yeah, there was a Luxury Comp Saturday (I think!)  The Girls got new clothes!  OooOoo.  We will see this Sunday night I believe.  I will be looking for signs that this comp was rigged.  Girls. Clothes.  Hmmm.  Gap promo?

 

Late Saturday (after the After Dark) was a Big Meeting of the F4 (Dick/Dani/Eric/Jess) under the newly christened name: Little Julie Chens Alliance (oh, how utterly cute and Danileish!) Here's a banner I made in their honor:

About all that was accomplished in the meeting was to agree not to go after one another and be very, very proud of their new cool name.  We'll see.  Seems the Donatos think Amber should go, Team EJ are leaning towards Zach.  That might prove a bit challenging.  This just in:  Eric and Jessica have kissed!  Break out the Party Hats!  Till then, O' Watchers of the Wheel of Hamster Love, take care!

Week 8 - Day 6 (Thursday)

Who are we kidding?  We just didn't get updates done this week cause there really, really wasn't anything worth reporting.  Here it is 20 minutes before Live Eviction Night and I'm hammering some kind of recap of this week.  Yeah, I suck.  Sue me. Going into the Big Night we find that Amber is definitely Smart Money to Go Home. Zach got a scare from Dick for playing both sides off the other but it's a bluff just to leverage more out of him in the future is the consensus.  So as the show comes close to airing we are fairly certain that the Queen of Tears is History (and probably Histrionics).  I've been rooting for Zach on Jokers for awhile now.  But I know his time is coming as well.  It nearly did this week.  If Amber and Jameka hadn't P/O Eric, as well as that Pesky America's Player thing which we KNOW by now that Eric has his orders to Evict Amber.  Even America has had enough of Niagara Falls.  Seriously though, even without the AP, Eric would have voted Amber over Zach this week.  She really stunk up the joint with her pathetic attempt at Girl Power Hour with Jessica.  The terrible thing is Jess was convinced by it (and a stiff breeze) ... and tried, in her weak girl way, to get Eric to flip.  Seriously though, Amber's gotta go!  It's culling of the weak time and she's the weakest of the weak.  Amber, you are the Weakest Link.  Goodbye!  Live in 10...

And there you have it.  Tonight's Live Eviction went as predicted: Amber's out 3-1.  Only Jameka voted to keep her God Buddy.  There was plenty of gray area in the spotlights tonight.  Jameka got time from her Pastor.  That was awkward.  Then there was that whole Eric's real life girl friend (or is she?)  along with Eric's brothers.  Presented the same night they focused on Eric and Jess's showmance kiss.  Oh my!  The Drama (zzzzz).  There was some other stuff in there...Dick Spit Video Funny...  nothing of real importance.  Fast forward to the HOH Competition:  Be the first to fill a tiny tea cup (3 oz) to fill a 50 gallon glass.  While walking on Corn Syrup.  Yes, I know that sounds strange.  When I can I will post a video of it or something.  Also: Big News!  Next Thursday is a Double Eviction!  Also, Tuesdays POV will be hosted by Janelle!  WoW!

Well, I'm not sure what to make of it, but I saw in my Web Visitor Logs that someone from CBS dropped by last night, looking for "hampsters" (sic).  Was that you Julie?  Hi hi!

Crap!  Housecalls calls this Week 9.  I'm a week off.  OOOk... Next 'Week' will be 10 then!
