Blogging is not always the 'lonely writer writing about their so-called life'.  There's such a thing as The Blogger Community (sort of like the Geeky Chess Club of High School days).

We bloggers support one another.  We read each other blogs, we participate in what other blogger's write about via comments and such as that.  And we have fun swapping links, making memes that folks share on their blogs.  This blog post is one of those memes.  I was surfing with much serendipidity today... just going with the flow... following blog links to other blogs... then hip hopping like Peter Cottontail (hey, it's nearly Easter!) ... looking for little bits of interesting stuff & fluff.  I came across GeekySpeaky via one of those hops ... and from there I fell down the rabbit hole of 'Supahstar Saturday'! 

Supahstar Saturday is Geeky's meme to highlight a particular blog (on Saturday if all goes well).  She will do a posting of your blog, with a few background Q&A's on it.  The main Q's are: Why do you blog? and What do you like best about blogging? 

If I understand the entry requirements you are expected to link back to the Supahstar page in a blog (after describing it as I did here) AND provide a reference linkback to 5 blogs that have won priorly.  Kind of cool (and legal) ponsetti scheme, hehe. Now it does say 'participate 5 times' to be considered for inclusion in that illustrious company.  I'm hoping (against hope?) that I can 'catch up' with this one blog to highlight the 5 blogs and get mine 'reviewed' ... but if that's not the way it works, then ... oh well... free linklove, lol!

Anyway, I like linklove, and I love reading good blogs... so this was my cup of tea!

Going through the prior list of winners, my eye first fell on:

WhateverIFeelLike.com.  Why you ask?  Because I had recently featured her site on my 'Blog O' The Day' ! So, it is a small blogworld after all!  I'm already a fan of Amy.  She writes insightful stuff about her day-to-day life... straight up good stuff, yup!  Her Obsession Meme was like peeking in on a stranger... delightful!  The name of her blog says it all...she really does blog on 'whatevershefeelslike'. Gosh!

Moving upstream, I checked out bucketobulletz.com Interesting name... let's see... oh! it's not bucketobulletz ... it's bucket o' bulletz ... i see now... uhm...she also got tagged to do the obsession thang.  Suni a.k.a. bulletproof soul (which kinda explains the blog name)... she's currently enamored with Virginia Wolf (and apparently is a little afraid!) She currently suffers from BMS which I understand is kinda like PMS but for Bloggers.  She's nominated for several blogging awards as well!  Wow, I am so like.. jealous, lol. I've only scratched the surface of this bucket, to be sure!

Further upstream we come to: hippie spelunker.  She's not a hippy nor a spelunker, although she likes caves and likes to think in hippy fashion.  Uhm...oook... lol.  She seems obsessed with her weight (and that's not a meme!) ... but she's working on it, so it's a healthy obsession... She writes an interesting piece called 'Yellow Snow in Alabama' (it's not what you think!).  She lovingly writes a piece on her kids entitled: 'Rotten, evil children' ... quite funny! She even has her own 'hippie spelunker' coffee cup!  That, friends, is dedication.  Hmmm... maybe I need a blogtopicz.com coffee cup.

Next up is Midlife Musings (I think I'm sensing a trend of Mom Bloggers here!)  Now right off I know I would be having words with this wonderful lady, Cass.  I'm not much on religion, she is... she thinks the democrats (liberals) should just shut up and allow Bush to run his dog and pony show (I obviously think otherwise) She collects coupons ... ok, that's cool I guess, lol.  I would have to agree with her vs. the IRS, however.  Yup, it would be an entertaining evening if we were to sit down and chat, lol.

Work At Home Musings - goodness, more mom, more musings! She's sick today and blogs Thursday Thirteen things she hates about being sick. She got several good answer's to her 'Question of the Week' (QOTW) - How do you remind yourself of daily tasks?  My answer would be 'I try not to, lol'.  A sweet little article entitled Medieval Times about a field trip for her kids class that she chapperoned (they were studying medivial times and went to a place called 'Medieval Times' which I surmise is that restaurant where they dress up in Medieval Fashion. Her blogs tend to be short, but plentiful!  Oh yeah, her name is Cecille.

We've finally come to the most recent, latest & greatest.  Surviving NJ.  Deb (from New Jersey, duh!) She writes about things in and around New Jersey.  She moved there from 'across the bridge' when she married... hence the 'surviving NJ'.  She's a published author of a couple of books and several articles.  Her blog seems oriented to PayPost types (hey, we all gotta make a living!)  She does make her Pays interesting and easily readable.  Not my thing really, but then again, plenty of good reviews here! (I can't link to individual posts here due to the way her blog is set up (monolythic)... oh well! Check her out! (They're not ALL Pay Posts!)

Whew...that completes My SupahStar Review... I hope I passed the audition!
