Announcing the Zenny Awards!

Folks that know me know that I am chock full of ’harebrained’ ideas (some say hairbrained, but that’s not correct!) I tend to get a Ah Ha moment on the same lunar cycle that Paris Hilton gets DUI’s and/or Orgasms. Yup, that often. Most lead absolutely nowhere... such as my idea to market Roller Coaster Cam (selling to the rider a video of their ride as a keepsake). That crashed. I blogged it, here it is. Ok, it’s tongue in cheek, sorta. Shrug. Can’t win ’em all!

This site is my latest harebrain. I decided to go ’semi pro’ ... toss a bunch of click-thru ads out there and pump up my readership (pump, pump!) So far it’s "working" ... but is definitely on the ’semi’ side instead of the ’pro’. (hey, it’s only been like a week! did you top 500 visits your first week?)

And now for something completely different! I was filling out yet another web chicklet site (the ones that do ’rate my site’ and the like)... ugh.

Fingers numb it dawned on me that one way to get my overall readership up is to offer to do a fair ’Zenny Rating’ of your site. Now, let me explain that a bit. You send me an email: zenshadow@blogtopicz.com and tell me what the link is to your site. I will do a write up on your site THAT IS JUST MY OPINION/RANKING of your site. I will be Simon Cowell Brutal, too! Getting good ratings out of me is like getting to Hollywood for American Idol! (and afterwards there will be the annual Zenny Awards where I give my Top Awards, similar to actually being chosen American Idol in your Blog Category!) Now the review will just be a few sentences, but will be: funny or fawning or something zen like. Suitable for posting, yup, yup.

Oh, let me know what particular Category you want your site to be in as well. Here’s your choices:

Each Friday I will announce my results and send via email your very own ’Zenny Rating’ Award. The Rating is 0-10. Heck, you might even feel good about getting a 1, I dunno. Some people will do anything for a rating!

If you get above a 5 from me (super blogger Zenny) then you should consider yourself a good, but not great Blogger. Above 7 and you are a Blog God.

note that due to space on the Award, it will either say:
