I've been busy of late working on a great Football Card game that my Roomie & I brainstormed out over a few days (and then set to the long task of designing the cards). I recently finished the first draft of the cards and am looking for folks to play a Beta of it.  Now it won't be the finished product, in fact it will only be a subset of the entire card base.  Here's what we see as the final Card Count:

20 Coach Cards (10 Home/10 Visitor)

30 Power Play Cards (which serve double duty for other special 'Events')

16 Offensive Play Cards

8 Defensive Plays Cards

8 Special Cards (like Punts, Fumbles, etc)

10 Rule Cards (currently)

2 Dice

The Beta that we will ship to you free of charge will not be this full deck, but a good enough sample of the cards that you can play a few plays and see how the game works overall.  The Rules and Special Cards will be printed off onto paper for reference (we're looking to have everything to be on cards in a card box with 2 dice in it for the final product).

What do we want in return?  Not much.  Just try out the beta for a few mini-games.  Let us know what you think of it. (you will need to supply your own dice for the beta and a pen & paper - to keep track of yardage).  Also the Beta is being printed on my home printer on inexpensive card stock (micro-perforated).  Production will be on much higher quality plastic cards from a professional card printing company.  Tell us any ideas to improve it.  What you would expect to pay for it (either online or on the shelf).  We have an amount in mind, but don't want to say right now so we can get a true feedback of what folks might be willing to pay for it.  We will need your mailing address to send this to you (if response is heavy we will select whatever our budget allows for and send sorry letters out to those that exceed it).  We expect you to give an accurate response to the game via email once you've played it for a few games (with a friend).  It's meant to be fast and fun, beer and pretzels type of play.

Folks Over Seas (Outside of USA):  Sorry guys, Postage is just too prohibitive to do so. (but if you know someone here in the states and can get them to ship it to you... )  Also, you will be able to order the Production Version when it becomes available.
